Simulating the LOcal Web (SLOW)

Can you envision simulating not just any universe, but our own Universe? That's exactly what we've accomplished with SLOW.

The SLOW simulation set is a set of cosmological hydrodynamical simulations of 750 Mpc3, that features the most extensive collection of Local Universe Galaxy Clusters ever replicated, accurately set within the appropriate large-scale framework.

By using this simulations we are capable of making prediction on the formation paths and evolution of individual structures of our Universe and compare them directly in a one to one basis with observational data.
